It's OK; he' been distracted with this that & the other lately.  Got a
new memory card for the digital camera yesterday; I think he said it
will hold something like 880 pictures.  He'll have the laptop so he can
download into that as we travel if he gets too many pictures of Robert
(no, never enough there), the Grand Canyon, etc.

Yes, still in th Phoenix area.  Nicer for her in that she's not relying
on MREs for nutrition.

Bummer for Don. I heard our first named hurricane has formed in the
Pacific but they doubt it'll get out here.

But they keep saying Hawaii is way overdue for one to come from Mexico
way.  The last major one was Iniki in 92.

I don't know if I'll even go that far; I'll probably just get by on what
I can do without a cook book.  Last night's supper was a beef stew--used
some beef that was tough as shoe leather before cooking but falling
apart tender after cooking.  Then too, it simmered for 4 hours before
Steve came home for supper.

By Christmas you'll be half way between "ready to go" and "I need to use
this before we can go but need that & the other to do what I want or
should I do something else instead".  Then by Memorial Day it'll be
"we're out but I'm not going to buy any more, no matter what" and so on.
