Nah, just warn me aforehand.

When I was 12, I was still learning to cook.  The world was
a different place then.  In my hometown, the gradeschool kids
were sent home for lunch because every neighborhood had their
own schools.  My mom stayed home during the day and worked at
night; my younger sibs were able to come home for lunch, mom
handled the household stuff etc., then when I came home from
school, she left for work & I got supper on, dishes done after,
got the little ones bathed and to bed, etc.

Mom would sometimes make a casserole or a "one pot" supper and
leave it for us during that time, so we wouldn't have to eat
frozen entrees all the time [g].  One time, she made a pot of
beef stew.  She always put a little sprinkle of celery seed in
the stew as an accent.  This time, though, the  sprinkle top 
was loose and came out - the whole jar of celery seed went into
the bubbling pot!

She removed whatever she could of it and just stirred in the rest.
Beef _anything_ was a rare treat then, with my dad gone & my mom's
crappy income tending bar, so starting over was out of the question.
Unfortunately, the stew was still gritty with seed and the flavor
was overpowering.  We choked down what we could, two nights in a
row.

It took years, quite literally, before I could stand the taste
of celery seed again (though, curiously, my taste for actual 
stalks of celery was not affected.)
