Is in fact 1 Tb of powdered cinnamon 15 g? I think it's worse
than you imagine because of the lack of packability of the powder.

I assume you've tried that Torani sugar-free syrup.

I was thinking that at any respectable Chinese buffet there
should be plenty to nosh on without bugs (and anyhow, I've
had hundreds of these in my lifetime - better to save some
for outlanders from Illinois and stuff).

     1/2  C             Semisweet Chocolate Chips
     1/2  C             Walnuts Or Pecans -- chopped
     1/3  C             Sugar
   1      Tsp           Cinnamon
   1      Pkg           Puff Pastry, Frozen (17 1/4 Oz) (2 Sheets) -- thawed
30 mins
   1                    Egg
   1      Tsp           Water

1. Preheat oven to 375F. In a small bowl, mix together chocolate chips,
nuts, sugar, and cinnamon.
2. On alightly floured pastry cloth, using a rolling pin, roll each puff
pastry sheet into a 14 x 11-inch rectangle. Sprinkle each sheet with half
of chocolate-nut mixture, spreading to within 1/2 inch of edges. Roll up
dough from long side, jelly-roll fashion.
3. In a cup, beat together egg and water. Brush over top of rolls. With a
sharp knife, cup rolls crosswise into 1-inch pieces. Separate pieces and
place 1-inch apart on ungreased baking sheets.
4. Bake 13 to 15 mins, or until tops are golden. Let cool 5 mins on pans,
then loosen and remove to racks to let cool completely.
