There was no picture in the article. Besides I'm a poor judge of such
things. I'll take your word for it.

That would be our pick next time; I'm a bit of a chocoholic. Neekha was
shopping with Roslind recently and told her, "Buy the chocolate cookies.
No, Jim will eat them all and we'll NEVER see them again. But the maple
cookies; he hates them. Oh, I feel guilty now. Buy both!" (They did.)

MMMMM-----Meal-Master - formatted by MMCONV  2.10

     Title: Chocolate Fudge Ecstasies
Categories: Chocolate, Cookies
  Servings: 1 batch

      1 pk chocolate chips; (12 oz.)
      2    squares unsweetened
    chocolate
      2 T  butter
    1/4 C  flour
    1/4 t  baking powder
      2    eggs
    2/3 C  sugar
      1 t  vanilla
      1 C  chopped walnuts

In a heavy saucepan, heat 1 cup of the chips, unsweetened chocolate and
butter until melted, stirring constantly. Transfer to a large mixer bowl
and cool slightly.

In a separate bowl, stir together flour, baking powder and salt. Add
eggs, sugar and vanilla to cooled chocolate mixture and beat well. Add
flour mixture and beat again. Stir in rest of chocolate chips and nuts.

Drop by heaping teaspoonfuls onto a lightly greased cookie sheet.

Bake in a 350 F oven for 8-10 minutes or until edges are firm and
surface is cracked and dull.

Cool 1 minute on cookie sheet, then remove and cool completely.
