I can imagine!  Ask a Brit type to shag.  Just try it.  You'll figure out fast
they have another meanting for the term than a dance that is almost like a
squaredance on the public dance floor.

Thats me.  Right now, I am a bit on edge (see other posts) and just ripped up a
fellow Chief. Did it in the CPO mess.  He told his guys to ask me what schools
they were scheduked for instead of checking for himself with the files I sent
him over the past 2 weeks, telling him (and the other 1,200 people on my ship)
to check and warn their folks.  GRRR.  I guess it was toomuch 'trouble' for
him to check his own people and easier for him to tel them to ask me?  Like I
need 1,200 people asking me to .... ok, ease up xx.

Grin, I'm normally pretty calm type.  JUst pity the poor soul who crosses my
lines in any sysop echo tonight.  Might not be pretty.

True.  That episode was before the main stress I have now really hit. 
Basically the young fellow left his even younger ensign's ass unprotected and
indicated it was funny to him to do so.  He's now got 1 4hour watch and a 6-8
hour shore patrol a day until *I* think he's learned a lesson.  His BMCS
thinks I'm a softy for once he figured out what the fellow did.  His life is
'not fun' just now as things other than dutysection watches are going on.

Before you think we are terrible, he's been in other things.  That young ensign
has at best 6 months in the Navy and he's got 6 years.  He's tagged as not
good support for her but he's the senior enlisted deck guy in her duty
section.

There's plenty who do!  Justthe old style teaching I had (initiation 1995)
didnt account for it.  But some, with same, took me aside as they had same and
gave me a clue bat of their own ways of dealing with same.
