I know what you mean, my retirement isn't huge but it's very steady and 
comes each month right on time and with Anne's salary, it's enough to keep 
the bills paid and a bit left over. So I only work at things I want to work at 
(grin) like the baseball team job, lots of fun and not much pay, but the pay 
is "pure gravy" as far as I'm concerned! Still, VB did not qualify as a "big
city" 
when I was there, granted that was almost 40 years ago but there a lot of 
swamp between the beach and the city limits!
