It will do your recipes in either Metric or English units.

It is "freeware" but not public domain. I noticed when I went to Scott's 
site to confirm the address that he is accepting donations. Since I came 
to Meal Master after it became freeware I had not had to pay a 
registration fee. But, under the philosophy that a workman should be 
worthy of his hire - I sent him some money via PayPal.

I use the program a LOT. So, it was only fair to pony up some money.

I do not care for the way the newest version works - so I stick with the 
v2.1 software.

If you have questions about either program ask them here. Almost all of 
us are _very_ familiar with both and always willing to help.

AN ASIDE QUESTION to Dale Shipp - who I know is reading this ...  Bv)=

I seem to remember a switch or utility for either Meal Master or MMCONV 
which will do an "automatic" translation from English units to Metric or 
the other way around. But, for the life of me I cannot locate anything 
on it. Can you help? I was going to brag about the capability to Bjorn 
as it will help him and Carina. But, I decided I'd better know what I 
was talking about before I started leading people down the primrose 
path.

MMMMM----- Recipe via Meal-Master (tm) v8.06
 
      Title: Gold Cake (Gelb Kuchen)
 Categories: Penndutch, Cakes
      Yield: 1 Servings
 
      6    Egg Whites
      3    Egg Yolks
    3/4 c  Sugar, Fine Granulated
    1/2 c  Pastry Flour
    1/2 ts Cream Of Tartar
    1/2 ts Vanilla
 
  Sift the flour 3 times. Beat the yolks of the eggs until light, add
  the sugar which has been sifted several times and beat with eggs
  until mixture is creamy. Beat the whites of eggs until stiff adding
  the cream of tartar when partly beaten. Combine the egg mixtures and
  fold in gently the sifted flour, then the vanilla. Do not beat. Pour
  into a well-buttered loaf pan which has been sprinkled lightly with
  flour. Bake at 350øF for 20 minutes. Increase heat to 400øF and bake
  about 40 minutes.
