Nobody told me until recently - I'd thought that, given what
people had said previously on the subject, eBay worked on
straight commission. Now that it's been explained to me, and
I've taken a careful tour of the site, it makes somewhat more
sense. Not much more, but somewhat more.

So why didn't you start the bidding at $5 or so? Or was $500
the minimum bid.

I delete also. As well as Cyberealm, Kooknet, and other stuff -
but I keep that down at the bottom.

I delete also. In both these cases I stick that information at
the bottom if there's not better attribution.

I also do a quick scan for typos and bad procedures/ingredients
that might later be attributed to me (I've had a lot of experience
having stuff with the original source's name filed off and mine
put on!). If it's clear they're not mine, I often don't bother.

Okay, I can see it keeping you briefly out of the saloons, chili
parlors, and other dens of iniquity, but how does it keep you
off the public dole? I imagine ads in the back of Popular
