The Japanese have millennia of experience making little people
as well.

No, it seems to have been a lack of support by the management
more than the dignity of the designers or the incompetency of
the assemblers.

Just goes to show the dangers of having unauthorized persons
doing grammar. In this case, "feel" is a copulative verb of
sorts - a bit more shaded and descriptive than the verb "to be."

I = subject
feel = copulative verb (now called by the bluenoses and
political corrects "linking verb")
bad = adjective.

Don't try this at home!

I use regular onions in this dish. The Italians use no
onion at all. The sour cream in Sunset's recipe is an
abomination.

He gave them fits, no doubt. This is why I avoid carrying a
musical instrument (in cultural havens such as Boston or
Northwest Arkansas I receive a tolerable amount of attention,
but who knows what would happen in Dallas or Memphis) when I
can borrow one at my destination; and when I must take one
along I carry a letter by a high official of the Homeland
Security department (what a stupid, mawkish name! but a
conscious attempt, I think, to soften the 1984 implications
of both name and department) that tells the cops to let my
instrument go.

I thought it had possible applications for teeny-tiny spying

Regarding another thread, I thought that hot paprika was
labeled "erös" (appropriately).

Calf's foot a la Cinderella
cat: French, offal, main
servings: 4

2 calf's feet
stock
3 Tb (to 4 Tb) truffle, chopped
3 Tb (to 4 Tb) sausage meat
butter, melted
breadcrumbs

Pieds de veau Cendrillon

Bone out the calf's feet, rinse them well, and put them in cold water
to cover. Heat the kettle over high heat until the water boils and
then parboil the feet a few minutes. Remove and drain them.

Poach or braise them in stock until they are tender.

Chop them fairly fine and mix them with the truffle and sausage.
Form is mixture into small cutlets, brush them with butter, and
roll them in breadcrumbs. Broil them until brown on all sides.
Serve boiled potatoes on the side.
