================
Hi Hap,

-> -> No I won't. This guy has more years of experience than the ones I saw
-> -> in HI. He said that usually he handles stress fractures in the foot

-> hn> Good that you have a guy with some experience in the field! (grin)

-> Yes; I think it's safe to say I'm on good footing with him. (G) I also
-> met my new Primary Care Manager (Doctor) today to get a bunch of
-> re-writes on prescriptions and a consult for the CT scan. I think he'll
-> be OK; he was questioning the use of some of my meds (appears to be
-> redundant unless you know how much I use of what, when) and he seemed
-> satisfied that I knew what I was talking about with my answers. We got
-> agreed with Steve about getting a temporary handicap tag for the car
-> since the foot problem won't be resolved for a while yet so that
-> paperwork is now in process.

 hn> Sounds like you have a couple of good ones; glad to hear it!

So far, so good. Now I've just got to make an appointment with the
Tricare referred pulminologist & see how well I can work with him over
the next few years. BTW, the paperwork for the handicap tag came back
the same day and instead of being a one year temporary, they issued a 4
year one.

-> hn> Shame there's some great fishing and hunting down in your area! My
-> hn> folks live a few hours north of you near Sumter, so I know the area

-> Well, the world needs some computer nerds as well. (G) Yesterday we
-> visited one of Steve's co workers to get an idea of what our house lay
-> out will be. Now we know pretty much what we want each of the "extra"
-> rooms to be; it'll help when I have to direct the movers on Nov.3.
 hn> ->
 hn> Hmmmm one for sewing...one for 'puters, one for sleeping.....I miss
 hn> any? ->

A guest room, separate family and living rooms, dining room and utility
room. We're going to flip flop the suggested dining and family room
spaces; the way the "flow" is, it'll work better. Took a look at the
linen closet; it's much bigger than the one we had in HI so I'll be able
to stow more in there. The sewing room has a walk in closet which will
be handy for all the stuff I've got (G) and the kitchen seems to have a
good bit of storage. The utility room has more space for larger kitchen
things I'll only need occaisionally.

-> hn> Edisto River just south of Charleston...now he's a gemcutter and one
->  hn> of the best!
 hn> ->
 hn> ->
-> I suspect I'd enjoy seeing some of his work; I do appreciate good gem
-> cutting.
 hn> ->
 hn> If you are really interested I'll have him give you a call and arrange
 hn> a visit.

Hmmmmmmmm, have to think about that. It might work if you were to come
back east and visit him, then I could arrainge a get together. That way
Steve could see some of his work too. (G)

-> We'd like to do the canyon again too. We spent a few hours there in 95
-> and talked about swinging by on our trip from Las Vegas to Surprise but

 hn> That's what Helicopters are for Ruth! (Grin)

Time and money. That was on the early end of our trip and we had to
meet Deborah in the late afternoon of that day. Got away from Vegas a
bit later than we'd planned and spent some time at the dam so Steve
could shoot pictures. Maybe another trip.

-> -> Deborah doesn't have a degree yet; Rachel has her bachelors in

->  hn> Ah, I got it bacwards....Anne's finished her national cert...and I
-> Yes, but that's OK. I don't think Rachel will go for her doctorate but
-> she could surprise us. I think she is working on national certification
-> as well.
 hn> ->
 hn> Hmmm working on your masters and national cert at the same time would
 hn> be very very very demanding! Anne can't go long with out having a
 hn> "challenge" and once the national cert comes through...the only thing
 hn> left will be the phd.

I'm not really sure if Rachel is working on the national certification
or not; I thought she'd said something about doing it but it could be
post masters planning. The school she teaches at is quite challenging
for her; the 3rd graders are doing some things she barely touched on in
her teacher training. Some of the things have been eliminated from
public schools years ago, like diagramming sentences. She's having fun
learning new (to her) things and relearning some things she barely
covered in teacher education.
