Food sucked - along with the service?!?!? Man, that just doesn't sound 
like the Popeyes with which I am familiar. Our original Popeye's was 
buried DEEP in the 'hood. No one I know ever had a problem there - 
except a couple drug dealers who tried to set up shop on the corner of 
Popeye's lot. The owner of this Popeye's has a son-in-law who is a 
member of whatever bunch of Indians who wear turbans, beards and carry 
wavy knives. After he spoke with the drug dealers they decided that they 
would relocate to a more survivable climate.  Bv)=

      Title: Roasted Autumn Vegetables
 Categories: Vegetables, Squash
      Yield: 10 servings
 
           Nonstick vegetable oil spray
  1 1/2 lb Butternut squash; peeled, in
           -3"x 1/2" wedges
  1 1/2 lb Rutabagas; peeled, in 1/2"
           -wedges
  1 1/4 lb Red-skin sweet potatoes; in
           -2"x 3/4" wedges
      2 tb Olive oil
    1/4 ts Cayenne pepper
    1/2 c  Fine chopped red onion
    1/4 c  Chopped fresh chives
      2 tb Apple cider vinegar
 
  Preheat oven to 350°F. Spray large rimmed baking sheet with nonstick
  spray. Combine squash, rutabagas, and sweet potatoes in large bowl.
  Add oil and cayenne and toss to coat. Sprinkle with salt and pepper.
  Spread vegetable mixture on prepared baking sheet. Roast until
  vegetables are tender, stirring and turning occasionally, about 1
  hour. (Vegetables can be prepared 4 hours ahead. Let stand on baking
  sheet at room temperature. Rewarm in 350°F oven until heated through,
  about 15 minutes.)
  
  Transfer vegetable mixture to bowl. Add red onion, chives, and
  vinegar; toss to blend. Season with salt and pepper.
  
  Makes 10 servings.
