 SD> "nerd badge"
 JW> I scored a modest 53. I feel good about that. [G]
ML> that's above the halfway percentile and that's a good thing in many
 ML> instances :)
JW> I didn't want to score either too high (nerdy) or too low (technically
JW> challenged). I'm working on the premise that it's a bell curve and 50
JW> is the perfect score. [G]

I retook the test several times to see if I could get a perfect
score, both positive and negative. I got to the 99 percentile
both ways, just by adjusting my attitudes just a little. However,
when I took the Weirdness Test, I was unable no matter how I tried
to get below 60 percent.

JW> Since I have 3 camel recipes you're the lucky winner of the third one.
 JW> Title: Quick-Frying Hump
JW> Cut the Camel hump into regular pieces or shredding and quick-fry
JW> them. Flavor with seasonings, and voila the finished fresh, soft and
 JW> tasteful Quick-frying Hump.
JW> The above dishes usually use Camels that die naturally, or are old and
JW> infirm as the ingredient. They are delicacies, and you should expect
 JW> to pay accordingly.

"Oh, look!" broke in Gherkins. "Here is a picture of a man
being chopped up in little bits. What does it say about it?"

"I thought you could read Latin."

"Well, but it's all full of sort of pothooks. What do they
  mean?"

"They're just contractions," said Lord Peter patiently.

"`Solent quoque hujus insulae cultores` - It is the
custom of the dwellers in this island, when they see
their parents stricken in years and of no further use,
to take them down into the market-place and sell them
to the cannibals, who kill them and eat them for food.
This they do also with younger persons when they fall
    into any desperate sickness."

"Ha, ha!" said Mr Ffolliott. "Rather sharp practice on the
poor cannibals. They never got anything but tough old joints or
  diseased meat, eh?"

"The inhabitants seem to have had thoroughly advanced notions
  of business," agreed his lordship.

  The viscount was enthralled.

"I _do_ like this book," he said; "could I buy it out of my
  pocket-money, please?"

MMMMM----- Recipe via Meal-Master (tm) v8.04

Title: TARO LEAVES IN COCONUT CREAM /PALUSAMI /LAU ME WAU NUI
 Categories: Vegetables, Pacific
      Yield: 4 servings

     30 Taro leaves
           ;or spinach leaves
    125 ml Coconut cream
    1/2 ts Salt
           Banana leaves
           Breadfruit leaves
           ;or aluminium foil,
           ;for wrapping

Wash the taro or spinach, remove the stems and any tough veins. Blanch
spinach leaves briefly just long enough to soften or boil the taro
leaves for 45 minutes. Drain in a colander.

Wash and dry the banana leaves. With a sharp knife remove any portion
of thick mid rib that remains and cut the leaves into 20cm/8"
squares. Pass each square over a low flame to make them pliable or
they will split when folded. On each square of banana leaf place some
of the spinach or taro leaves. Spoon some coconut cream seasoned with
salt onto the centre, and make a parcel of the leaves, enclosing them
in the banana leaf. Finally wrap in breadfruit leaves or large
  squares of aluminium foil.

Place in a steamer and steam for 1 hour, or bake in a moderate oven.
If using spinach, 15 minutes cooking time will be enough.
