Have to see what other constraints there are.  We'll probably go up to
NY first, then head back down to GA, stopping for the picnic en route
home.  The major decsion points are when the reunion will be for Steve's
family and what sort of work issues he has to work around.  We tried
several times to get stationed at Fort Meade but it never worked out;
I'd have enjoyed the history of the area.

Those are not meant for people with a mobile lifestyle.  We know we
won't be here forever so want something that we won't shed tears over if
we have to leave it behind.

Propane, combo grill and smoker, R2D2 but I don't remember the name
brand.  The one we had in HI was Brinkman; in AZ we had a regular
propane grill that we could have smoked on but would have involved more
work to configure it that way. At any rate, I'm looking forward to
getting some smoked turkey and the associated stock, bones for seasoning
and so on.

Long handle tongs and spatula (flipper thing) are the most important
after a good thermometer and set of long mitts.  Anything else is either
not needed or a luxury (used once or twice in a season, if that).
