Naw, no car to pickup.  We'll get something when we get wherever we go. 
Norfolk looks more and more likely now.

Um, Okinawa is Japan <g>.  But no, not to Sasebo.  Too much time and travel
between places.  We can have one of them filleted for that night though.  I
gather it's medium fish time just now so look to 30-40lb fish mostly.  Just
hoping the weather holds as it's too late to change pattern and we have the
only day they have a trip scheduled for.

I am sure you would have!  We got one yesterday and made bread.  We made dough
in the machine then made rolls from that with various seed toppings (had to
borrow an egg as i was out so one of the kids ran over to get one).  David
wanted to know how you get the seeds to stick on so we made an eggwash and
sprinkled them with various ones I have here.  They got creative and made
little bread-men with sunflower-seeds and seaweed for the 'hair'.  One of them
was really cute.  A little ogre with hairy armpits.

Then they wanted to play 'face-paints' so made up a slurry with cornstarch,
cold-cream, food coloring (not too much, didnt want to stain their skin). 
Told'em to go change into 'ratty clothes and warn Mom' then tucked old tshrts
over them all and let'em have fun on the porch.  That spresd to making an Xmas
display on my glass doors from watercolors (perfectly safe and washes off
fine, it's the outside they painted).

I made up a big batch of pancit with the stuff we cant eat up before we go
tomorrow.  I had lots of oyster mushrooms and shimenji so that with squid and
a stray octopus tentacle made the basis of the meats.  Rest was veggies and
stuff.

RH> I know; Steve had a set of identical female twins in his last unit.

We have a set on the ship like that.  Doing brother duty this tour.

Don had the little fish threatening the goldfish tank (Fishie and fishette in
there).

Happens here too.  I suspect anyplace where the culture is different.  Waste of
life-time if you ask me, but some choose it.
