Good deal there.  I picked up one or two when we first got here but
didn't see anything like that.

Yes, because the company commander and (if there is one) XO, have only
been in the Army a relatively short time--less than 10 years generally.
OTOH, the First Sergeant has been in close to 20, if not over.  Enough
time to know what's going on.

I know there's one outside of Kingston, NY on Route 28; don't know if
there are any closer to you. (G) We picked the truck up in Florida.

Not a Met? (G)

Made my own version of shrimp scampi Monday night with fresh local
shrimp. Took about a pound of medium, rinsed, shelled & deveined and
rinsed again, about 2-3 large cloves of garlic roughly chopped, about 2
TBSP each buter and olive oil, 3/4c chicken broth and a bit of salt &
pepper.  Should have, but forgot to add a squeeze of lemon juice.  Steve
did the actual cooking in the new wok--melted the butter/heated the oil,
then tossed on the garlic for a couple of minutes.  Before it browned,
he added the shrimp for about 4 minutes, adding the broth abou halfway
thru. Served over fresh cooked brown rice with petite green peas
(frozen, nuked) on the side; it was good.  Nice garlic flavor and tender
shirmp; we will be repeating that sometime in the not so distant
future.(G)

In my book........well, I'd best not say but I do have an opinion of
