As for my own Australia report, of which some 75K remains to
be uploaded here, I've produced four separate versions, three
for publication -

 one comprehensive one, with notes (like what I cooked on
 special order for Carla - steak medium well, ugh), for my
 records only;

 one that has more food emphasis and just a little less
 flying emphasis, for here;

 one that has both food and flying emphasis, just slightly
 different from the above, just with more flight notes and
 fewer names of cast of characters, for moremiles, where I
 am the only participant, pretty much, and moderator, on
 the trip reports echo;

 one somewhat tamed, with all potentially controversial
 things excised, for flyertalk, which has over 100000 users
 with a sizable proportion of psychotics, and where, if I
 said that I drank Havana Club rum, a flamewar might well
 start with "you should go to jail for letting any Cuban
 product pass your lips" followed by "all USans are bigots"
 followed by who knows what. With stuff like "you can't be
 a nob, nobs never fly in coach" thrown in to spice things up.

I understand this completely; and once in a while, the pages
go walkabout anyhow.

I'm sure. Sounds like an interesting character. By the way,
she's in a welded-shut box with hydrocarbon fumes that prevent
unwelding any time in the near future. What's she to do?

We're talking temperature and humidity controlled art museum
environments, not the boiling heat of the Australian outback!

My point is that exposure to heat can't be simplified to
mere therms per square inch but must take into account
intensity, duration, and a gazillion other factors of
noninsignificance that might be too troublesome to
analyze.

I can't hazard to guess what an Asian instant rice would be like.

Indeed. Multiplying my estimate of 30 pots needed by
several; how about 30 rice cookers puffing away at the
same time, and, oh, 90 burners ...
