Actually, the south west is much less humid than the south east. I'm
having a lot more year round breathing problems because of the humidity
here in GA than I did in AZ.  The old saying about it being a dry heat
out in the south west.............an oven is dry heat also. (G)

It's not the heat that bothers me so much as the humidity. In HI, it
was humid but the trade winds kept it (mostly) blown off.  Here there
are no trades and I really feel the humidity.

Have you tried carob as a chocolate replacement? I used it years ago but
then went back to chocolate. I probably should try carob again for some
things but it won't ever 100% replace chocolate.

That must have ben scary, especially with the kids so young.  I can see
why you would want a dishwasher.  It was something they could learn to
load & unload to help you.

They were good and we miss them.  Sometimes we would be the only "round
eyes" in the place but not for long as they were so popular. Out
favorite one would have a long line at sometimes, the oddest hours.

And by next month you will be putting up tomatoes every other day. What
are you going to do with the grapes?
