Monday June 16

Woke up this morning with snow covered mountains thru the verandah
window.  Beautiful.  Sat outside for a while enjoying the view.

Eventually strolled down to the Lido Room for breakfast.   Had a more
customized breakfast today - enjoyed all of our choices.

Later that morning we went to another cooking demonstration in the
culinary arts center.  This one was by Chef Sumit who ran the Pinnacle
Grill on the ship.  It was a smaller, reservation only -- extra fee,
dining room.  His was a good presentation, making three dishes.  The
recipes that he made are in separate messages.

Lunch was in the main dining room.

We took a shore excursion into Juneau to The Glacier -Mendenhall
Glacier, very pretty and awesome view.  Took a number of pictures which
we have posted to the public site.

Got back to the ship and rested a while and then it was time for dinner
in the main dining room.

For this dinner we were back at our assigned table with the couple from
Cincinnati and the two ladies from England.  We went back to our room
and repacked our suitcases for the next part of our trip.  Bags had to
be outside cabin door before midnight.

Morning Call for 5:30.

Breakfast in the Lido Room, same as before.

The next day we met up with the Cincinnati couple as we were walking
around Skagway and she told us that in the rush of packing their things
to meet the midnight deadline for the pickup of suitcases she found
herself without slacks - she had packed everything.  A frantic call to
the main desk and the crew eventually found their suitcases and returned
them to their room close to 2:00 AM.
