People don't understand how HARD it is to be retired!!
Why last month alone I almost lost my retiree status!
For some reason I was so busy all month I didn't get
my quota of "diddly" in! I had to spend the first three
or four days of January just doin diddly so I could meet
my retiree quota!!

It works for us, Atkins really works for us but
it gets to be boring pretty quick...south beach
is a bit more realisitic, and when you couple it 
with the DASH philosophy it works fairly well.

We are so misunderstood and trod upon!

->  ->  Sunday and I did a white fish fillets.  Only by buying fresh can
->  ->  I be reasonably certain I'm getting uncontaminated fish from places
->  ->  like Canada.  For white fish, I bake them at 375 for a bit skin
->  ->  up, then flip them over and broil skin down until the brown a bit.
->  ->  A mix of butter, 1/3 stick, lemon juice, about 4 tablespoons,
->  ->  garlic juice and white pepper while broiling makes a pretty good
->  ->  piece that most folks who don't like fish will like.

Yeh, I'm getting a little bit of fish in the diet now
the Doc has told Anne she needs to get some 
in there...mostly mild fish like halibut and tuna.
but I'll take any opportunity that comes along!

Anne keeps telling me I'm perfect...but I think
she's lying to me.....to keep me cooking in the
kitchen (grin)!
