Ärende: schedule messed up 678

Well, folks, I'm still going to manage to make
most of the picnic events, but I have to be in
Boston Thursday so will not be able to ride up
with the Shipps and sample Italianate or Penn
Dutchate specialties on the way.

Many of you know about the Armenian group I play
with, with the paraplegic conductor (and a few of
you have attended concerts by the Erevan Choral
Society and Orchestra) ... anyway, he finally died,
and the funeral is Thursday at 10. I'll be flying
out of Boston at 3, arriving in Syracuse at 5:05,
where with any kind of luck I will meet up with the
Fords for the ride down the highway or else take a
bus that night, arriving late late in Binghamton.

This means that I will not be bringing any interesting
liquid refreshments to the picnic, and it's unclear
whether I can bring anything ... no worries, I'm sure
there must be a Wegmans someplace nearby.

Ah, well, could be worse, I could not have the miles
cushion to be able to make the trip at all.

I will separately  e-mail and/or phone the people I
was going to rendezvous with.
