Gee, that doesn't correspond with my memory at all.
I was a member of Cooking in 87 and the only moderator I remember 
back then was Rich Harper.

See, and I don't ever remember seeing any messages in fido
by anyone with that name. in either 87 or 88.

->   some kind of Fidonet snafu.  East of the Mississippe (roughly), we
->   were seeing all the messages; west, you were only seeing some of the

This might be an explaination then, I am certainly way west of 
the Mississippi

flame induced. But I remember Rich, Tia and all the rest quite
