I finally gave up and skipped forward quite a bit and now am looking at last
800 or so.

Don's making a wood stand for the portable AC.  It has a small water outlet
at the bottom which is a little too low to port out the sill.  We'll be using
the patio door (screen opens) to port out the hot air vent and water outlet.

On really hot days, it does add heat from back there so needs occasional AC
assist as it's off the main vents in the house.  The little unit will more
than make up for that.  In winter, I'll store the AC away and put a small
electric oil filled radiator out there.  In fact, we needed a bigger one for
the garage so the garage unit will move out here and be just right.

Too bad I have to work tomorrow as that's when we'd be ready for moving the
furniture in and such.  Last bit will be to figure out how to drop a curtin
rod from the ceiling down low enough so my Japan curtins can be used.  I
bought lots of them for the cho, thinking to use them here but they are
slightly shorter than what it turns out I needed as the sunroom bottom is all
glass to the floor.

LOL!  While typing, Don made a little wood box and set the AC unit in it. 
It's just right so the wheels fit in there and the unit has air room at the
sides around it since there's minor venting at the bottom, this was needed). 
He made it out of pre-treated 1x6 decking wood.

Now he'd making something to vent the hot air tube out, that we can easily
move out of the way to close the back patio sunroom door and screen at night.
 It wont be totally air-tight but close enough for use.  The plastic doohicky
that came with it was framed for a standard small window, not the big ones in
the sunroom or the glass patio door we are using.

The AC unit BTW looks much like the one Janis had in the livingroom.  Useful
little critters.  Dunno if her's also is a dehumidifier but she wouldnt need
that up where she is.  If her's is, I suspect it drains to a pot or
something.  Ours in the box Don made, could be drain-vented that way easy too.

Oh, shush but I figured out why the ceiling molding didnt hit flush.  He put
it up, upside down <g>.  Rather than remove it, I'll add some corner molding
to make it fit nice.  No rush there.  We will possibly paint the ceiling soon
and it would be easier to add that moulding afterwards.  ;-)
