Sounds OK.  With all that talk of durians, I got hungry, so yesterday,
when the local "Lucky Asian" got in supplies, I bought a 3 kg Thai
Mornthong which was ripe enough that it was just starting to
spontaneously split along a seam.  In the evening my son's girlfriend
came in, and wondered what the aroma pervading the house was.  I opened
up the split a bit and let her take a deep sniff.  She rolled her eyes
heavenward, and said, "That is wonderful!".
Damn!  Another durian lover in the family.  Now I'll have to share it.

MMMMM----- Recipe via Meal-Master (tm) v8.05
 
      Title: Pengat Durian / Durian In Coconut Milk & Sugar Sauce
 Categories: Chinese, Asia-n, Desserts, Malaysia, Asia-se
      Yield: 1 Servings
 
      1 md Durian
           -;not too ripe
           -;seeds & pulp only
      1    Coconut
           -;grated flesh only
    750 ml Water
    180 g  Palm sugar
           -;gr
      2    Pandanus leaves
           -;tied in small knot
 
  Boil the durian seeds with the pulp in a little water. Add the coconut
  milk, palm sugar, & pandanus leaves. Bring to the boil over a
  moderate heat to dissolve the sugar, stirring occasionally.
  
  When cooked through, remove the mixture from the heat & discard the
  pandanus leaves. Serve as a dessert or snack in individual bowls.
  Durian seeds are edible when cooked.
