I dont have the ability to put a window unit there.  I opted away from the
wall unit at 2,500$ (AC and Heat) and the rest doesnt adapt right for a
window unit.

Portable it must be.  It seems to be working well.  As the day hit closer to
95, I turned it back on and it's happy.

Ours now has a long thin wood block that fits in the patio door.  A bit of
air leak but not more than 1/8th inch.  Just pick it up and move to the side
when closing up at night.

Humm, I'll have to check that carefully.  I had not expected the water to be 
very hot.  If it's a problem, we drill a little hole in the long-wood that
the exaust vent plugs to and just vent outside.
