I believe they're hand-formed. If not, there's slight irregularities between
patties, but they're still good. I hadn't thought about the size of a tall
burger though...

ML> Does the chili have beans, that's the question.

Yes. However, I like my chili with beans, so that doesn't bother me too much.

ML> I'd order a plain burger, rings if available (and not those nasty

I don't know if they have onion rings, but I know beer is not served (no
alcohol at all). They do have root beer though.

Kennesaw is actually a nice place. It's quite crowded now, but there's a lot
of quiet neighborhoods to raise a family in.

ML> Mine is a burger plain without cheese (lettuce, tomato, and
ML> onion optional - I tend to strip them out of the sandwich and eat

They serve all the veggies on the side so you can build it how you want it. I
liked that about them.

ML> One step at a time. Remember that your digestive juices tend to
ML> kill off most things you don't want to put into your system.

I'm also taking prescription Prilosec for my acid reflux, so rarer meat may not
be as good for me to eat because half of my stomach pumps are turned off at any
given time...

ML> I won't say anything about good or bad taste, but you have to be a

 ML> race of vicious dogs.

Well, Georgia Tech uses an insect for their mascot.

ML> What's a VUE? Vehicle unfathomable electronics? Anyhow, it
ML> must have been entertaining to drive the giant pickup for
ML> a while. Look at it on the bright side - you don't have to
 ML> own one.

I own a 2007 Saturn VUE. It's capitalized and stands for "view" since you have
about a 340 degree view in it. It's extremely easy to see out of and that is
handy in traffic.

If I had a house with land, I'd have a big pickup, but other than that, there's
no need. The VUE is quite big enough and it has a 3.5 liter V6 in it, which is
more than enough to tow a small trailer if I need to.

ML> If there's not a Southern picnic soon, I threaten to try to wangle
ML> a layover at ATL someday ... though I seldom fly Delta or ValuJet.

If you do, leave me a note on the board...I'll make arrangements. I'm off on
Fridays and Saturdays, but I don't go to work until 4 PM on Wednesdays and
Thursdays, so if you came during the day, that would be fine.

As for a Southern picnic...Maura is working on trying to get some work-at-home
employment which will help our bottom line. Also, when I can pay off the loan
we have on the VUE, that will free up $350 a month for us. We'd like to move
into a small home as our rent here has increased every time we've renewed our
lease (every six months), so for a small two bedroom apartment, for just a
little more, we could have a house. We pay our own electric and water in this
place, so it's really not that far-fetched to get a place.

If we get one that has enough room, I know we'd be happy to host a picnic down
here. A distinct advantage for us is that we're about a 30 minute drive (using
the back roads) from Hartsfeld-Jackson and there's plenty of hotels along the
I-20 corridor in Douglasville.

ML> The next one went fine, too, but I'm sending this packet
ML> out through Doc's to share the wealth, as it were.

Sure thing. Right now, you're my only caller, heh.
