Then you haven't been back to Texas for a while or visited Alberta
where every little truck stop and cafe offers a steak breakfast: 6
or 10 oz steaks with one, two or three eggs plus the usual sides.
You could even order two steaks and they won't look at you weird.

MMMMM----- Recipe via Meal-Master (tm) v8.06
 
      Title: Lumpiang Sariwa (Fresh Egg Roll)
 Categories: Side dish, Vegetables, Filipino, Shrimp
      Yield: 4 Servings

    1/2 lb prawns
    1/4 lb pork; boiled for 15mins
      1 cn bamboo shoots; OR
      1 cn hearts of palm, OPT
           Salt and pepper
     10    lettuce leaves
      2    Garlic cloves; crushed
      1 md Onions; diced
      1 ts salt
      1 ts pepper; freshly ground
           LUMPIA WRAPPERS
           SAUCE
      4 tb cornflour
    1/3 c  brown sugar
    1/4 c  soy sauce
  1 1/2 c  water
           garlic cloves; minced

  Devein prawns and cut into small pieces. Cut pork into small
  pieces. Cut bamboo shoots or hearts of palm into thin long strips.
  
  Saute garlic, dice onion, shrimp and pork, for about 10 mins. Add
  bamboo shoots or hearts of palm, salt and pepper, and cook for
  another 5 minutes.
  
  Drain well. On a plate, lay wrappers flat, place a segment of
  lettuce leaf on wrapper, then place about 2 tb of filling on top
  of lettuce leaf and roll wrapper.
  
  Seal with a little water and place edges down. Serve with lumpia
  sauce and crushed garlic.
  
  Sauce Preparation: Combine cornflour, sugar, soy sauce and water.
  Cook 5 mins over low heat, stirring constantly to prevent lumps
  When done, serve with crushed garlic.
