It should be possible to incorporate spinning motion into a ball
projector, and then, in these days of computers, program in a random
factor to vary the rate and direction of spin, as well as velocity, to
fire a ball which still remains within limits.

Our Don Bradman, the greatest cricketer who ever lived, used to
practice as a boy by hitting a tennis ball against a corrugated iron
tank, using a cricket stump as a bat.

Violins would be difficult, but player pianos have worked quite well,
satisfying such performers as Rachmaninof with their faithfulness.
That, of course, was because the perforated roll was made directly from
their playing.  When "musique electronique" was first composed many
people thought that would replace traditional mechanical instruments,
but fortunately for those of our friends who depend on such devices for
their livelihood, that didn't happen - at least, it hasn't yet.

      Title: Fondue Harvard Musical Association
 Categories: Historical, Corn
      Yield: 8 Servings
 
      8 oz Gruyere
      8 oz Emmenthal
    1/2 c  Dryish white wine
      2 tb Kirsch
      2 tb Cornstarch
           Nutmeg
 
  Put the cheeses in a chafing dish. Immediately add the white wine and
  cook, stirring. When the mixture comes to a bubble, combine the
  Kirsch and cornstarch and stir in. Heat, still stirring, until the
  fondue is appropriately hot and rather smooth.
  
  Serve over toast and sprinkle each slice with nutmeg.
  
  We had mass quantities of Hugel Gentil with our postconcert supper,
