I have enjoyed, on occasion, a berry tiramisu from Wegmans.  :) 

Normally I don't make demands around my allergies... usually it's
sufficient to just quietly refrain from eating whatever turns out not to
be safe...  And I didn't really think of it early enough to ask, once I
had a good sense of the comraderie etc of the group...   But I'll keep
it in mind for next time.  :)

I gathered as much.  :)  And a fine company it is, indeed... ;)

Yes, that would make sense.  But does deep-frying by itself make
anything/everything edible?  One could take the simmered feet and then
deep-fry them...??

I don't think I've seen that one.

I think that what I've had are the latter ones... lots of surface area,
sticking out indeed a lot like cowlicks... ;)  Very good.

There's another totally different one, where the mashed taro is baked
inside a pastry shell and then cut into pieces (think sushi rolls). 
They're ok, but I like the others better.  :)
