Allen,

Don't get the idea that I was fussing at Burt -- just letting him know
that something got messed up when he switched from his usual BBS to
fidotel and asking him if he could fix it.

People should not post things that might come back to haunt them, not
anyplace -- with or without an alias.

Granted, and it has been so for years.

We have always allowed that, but strongly prefer that people treat this
as a real name echo when possible.

I am posting the rules tonight.  The relevant section there is:

The reasons for that rule are based on the fact that this echo is much
more than just a bunch of people posting messages.  We are all real
people.  We have broken bread together, both figuratively and literally.
We have trust among each other.  We share those things we are willing to
make public, and hold private those things we want to keep private.
Those are things that one does with some fictional character.

Yes it is understandable, and we have had a few such people posting here
in the distant past.  They have been accommodated to mutual satisfaction.

      Title: Fruity Chews
 Categories: Diabetic, Dessert, Kids, Snack, Fruit
      Yield: 1 servings
 
      3 c  Apple juice, or
           Grape juice, or
           Orange juice, or
           Orange-pineapple juice
      5    Gelatin envelopes
 
  Soften gelatin in 1 cup fruit juice in medium mixing bowl. Bring one
  cup juice to a boil and stir in gelatin/juice mix. Continue stirring
  until gelatin is dissolved. Add remaining cup of juice. Pour into 8
  inch square pan and refrigerate until firm.
  
  *Kids love these cut with cookie cuuters into their favorite shapes.
  *Holiday treats are always welcome - orange-pineapple pumpkins at
  Haloween, red fruit-berry bells at Christmas, use your imagination
  and enjoy! *A drop of food coloring in white grape juice will
