You've got me drooling but I suspect the price has gone up a bit and
they're not $10/pound any more. We've really enjoyed the local shrimp;
getting spoiled so when we leave this area and have to buy shrimp from
who knows where, we probably won't.

Still you got to see quite a bit of the area. More of France than I've

Very much so, and if you had friends that liked doing the same thing, it
would make a nice outing.

Now the bases/posts don't have snack bars as such.  There are a number
of fast food chain places available in a food court in the PX/BX area
but nothing of great quality for the most part. Sometimes I've a hard
time deciding what's the least offensive of the offerings; other times,
the selection will have just what I was craving. Same selection too. (G)

Part of the understanding tht goes with being part of the military. It
helped that my coloring, features, etc were typical German; I'd have
stood out like a sore thumb in Japan.

Yes, the web seems to have most anything you want to find these days,
