We'll be fine, but it was a bit of a surprise hit
and when they want it all back in one big lump
we weren't pleased...but we just made minimum 
payments on the credit cards instead of paying 
them off, and we may use them a bit more this 
month than we normally would.

Actually her EPA grant has travel allowances in it.
I don't know that Amanda has really used much of 
that though. I know she did make one trip to an
ecologist society symposium back on the east
coast earlier in the spring.

We can go either Methodist on Sunday or Catholic
on Saturday night or Sunday.

That's not really a factor. The big issue is preventing 
escapement into the local ecosystem. It's not a desease
concern at all. A prime example is C. Taxifolia which is a 
sea grass that was "developed" to be hardy and survive
in aquariums...and it "escaped" from the Monaco Aquarium
and has now become the poster child for invasive species
invasions. On the surface you say "it's just a seaweed, what's
the big deal?"....but it is perhaps the biggest deal in the oceans
right now! Since the facility Amanda is doing her research is 
pretty much the number one facility of it's kind in the world,
they have very stringent protocols for dealing with "critters" 
that aren't native to the area. The blue lobsters I've talked
about before? They are east coast critters, and the program
that several Professors have been working on is closing down
primarily because of that. Now the fact that all those little 
blue lobsters are all boys doesn't seem to matter.
