Not being a member of Sam's Club (due in part to my lack of admiration
for WW), I've never gone there, either.  BJ's, yes, but rarely for food.

I think my only experience with Costco was when my son was out in
Arizona and we went out to visit him.  None of them around here... but
then we have other stores.... ;)   If they do come through, you'll
benefit from both the fee and the proximity... :)

I used one when I was recouperating from having broken my right ankle
rather spectacularly in 2005...  Every now and then, especially in the
bigger stores, I look at them with calculation... ;/  The basket's not
really big enough for the groceries I have to get... I'm buying for us
and also for my friend... sometimes for another friend as well..  But
the legs really do ache at the end of the excursion...  I can hear your
dogs barking easily in imagination... :)
