We try to keep those free if there's another spot available.  Almost 3
years ago I broke my left foot.  After having all kinds of trouble with
it, it finally healed.  But I really can't stand very long and, to
ensure a bit of stability, I use a cane whenever we go out.  Yes, it may
not look like I'm handicapped but I sure do appreciate the blue spots.
I also grab a riding cart for grocery shopping when we do our once a
month stock up trip.

That is abuse of the system & she should be reported. Whether she will
be or not is a different story.

Hopefully all is going well & you will be done with the chemo soon.  I
was diagnosed with DCIS (Ductal Carcinoma In Situ) last year; had a
couple of lumpectomy surgeries and a nasty infection (possibly MRSA).
But, the good news is that I didn't need either chemo or a tamoxifin
follow on, "just" about 8 weeks of radiation treatments after the
infection healed.

Steve and I had a mini celebration after the end of each week of
treatment.  We found a really good sea food place on River Street one
week and had a BOGO (buy one, get one free) lunch.  The day I finished
my last treatment, we went back there for supper before going to a
Mannheim Steamroller concert. Since we didn't have any coupons for
specials, we each had a salad, an appetiser and split another one. The
salads were good; the rest of the meal wasn't as good as the first time.
Either a different chef was on duty or we "lucked out" the first time.
There's not been a 3rd trip.
