Charlotte kept growing til she was 17 or so, she said. (She moved to live
with my Dad when she was 16). She looks like a tall version of me. So much
like me, often only we can tell pictures of us apart. Dad for example had 2
pictures of me as a kid and didnt realize it, thinking one was Charlotte.
Mom saw pictures of my niece's wedding and thought one of them was me but I
didnt make it to the wedding, this only this past year and that pic had
nothing to put the height in perspective ;-)

Imagine me at a hair under 6ft, with a lightly more pointy chin and a
slightly more aquiline nose. Thats my sister. 3.5 years older than me, and
a case of really *obviously sisters* so close we've been asked if we were
twins. Identical smile.

Her husband Joe asked her when she'd gone fishing after finding a stray pic
of me doing that in Okinawa 2 years ago, then he realized the haircut was
wrong and looked closer ....

I can understand that one.

At night, it's not a problem. I have good mink blankets from Korea and some
very nice thick comforters to go over them.

Not sure skim milk would have the right effect, but i sometimes have used a
little sour cream and 4% milk for things that called for heavy cream.

Thoughts are leading to a clam dip for now. I have 2 decent ways, 1 with
sourcream base and the other with philly cheese base. Then yes, fried
clamcakes made with minced clams and lots of binding agents, a little bit
like crabcakes but made with clams.

As it gets colder, the 'soup kitchen' is going back to business. I normally
donated every other week with some dish, in winter. Church affiliated and
they help the local mom's and the elderly to make ends meet. No homeless per
say, but that's because they help them find places to live.

Naw, slept in. Should have forced myself to get up early since tomorrow I
start work at 5am.
