Sasebo in winter, blasts from Siberia come down over Korea and skip to Sasebo
area. Here though in Norfolk, it's fairly temperate in winter compared to
you and even Dale.

Good. My Mom is still happy where she is but it's just a matter of time.
The sunroom and the 3rd bedroom will make her a nice little 'suite' and all I
have to do is relocate the BBS.

Yes and no. The twitching itself is just kinda wierd but not painful, but it
only happens when the neck gets out of whack which can (often does but not
always) cause pain just above shoulderblades, under collar bone, and through
shoulder down to elbow. If it's bad, I take tramadol and muscle relaxants.

Probably 1st if you use direct deposit. ailed checks probably a bit later,
like arrive 3rd or so.

Not to worry. Shop about for one like it. I am sure I didnt pay much more
than 100$ for mine and think it was less but not positive. Although I love
it's top crock, I'd not pay 300$ for the unit.

Did you perchance get the sink strainer? That one is a real good item you
will never go back from. Your cooking style leads to it's use very fast and
easy.

Ok but reduce the sake and probably the soy a bit and use either dashi or
chicken stock to make up the difference. It's a very deep japanese recipe
there in the original and may not suit american tastebuds too well without
the alcohol reduction.

I'll have to MM my adaptions one day for this. I learned the unadapted one
didnt go over all that well for those not used to cooking with sake or wine.
I'd hazard a guess that if you used a slightly sweet white italian table wine
for the sake then used sugar 'just to taste' you might like it better.
Pretty sure i left a bottle of mirin with you if you didnt have it handy.
That or we used it up as it didnt come home! ;-)
