Yes, I know fat carries flavor, and as 
much as I enjoy flavor I could stand to
be a little less "flavorful" myself (grin).

Good points both, but everyone has to play
in the same ballpark, so it should even out
or at least become a bit less of a sticking
point.

We always got good service with 
Alaska and Northwest, so we usually
stuck with them....I heard today that
Delta is going to charge something
like $15-25 for checking the FIRST
bag, and more for subsequent ones.
I'm glad that I usually only do carryon!
