Is it a secret how close my guess was?   Were you on the tarmac or in the
air?  How high?  Where?  After all, you did ask for your location "right
now."   Your answer  didn't even hint where you were.

I suppose since you are not loaded at this time I'll have to pick it up
somewhere?

And now, a question for you.   I use a powdered soup, from the Amish store,
as a base to make myself a few cups for brunch every other day or so.   I
just add 1/2 to 3/4 cups of the powder to 3 cups of water, cut up and add
onions, tomatoes, peppers [hot or cold], celery [a little bit], cucumber,
left over veggies, and if I have it an ounce or two of left over meat.

I bung it in the microwave for 8 to 12 minutes until it thickens some and
cooks the raw stuff.   It is fast and easy.   And it tastes <very> good. 

The powdered soup is kinda expensive.  There's chunky potato soup, corn
chowder, (for Heavens sake Daves, forget it [g]) mushroom soup, broccoli
soup, chili soup, vegetable soup, etc.   

I guess they are all some kind of powder to give a base texture, some kind
of flavor stuff, and probably loads of salt.

Now my question is, what can I use to give that base texture to my own
concoction of water, veggies and meat?  Without cooking for a comparatively
long time?  And without so much salt?

Is possible?

I added some left over mashed potatoes once and it seemed to thicken the
soup, but I don't have much left over mashed potatoes.

Hmmmmm, if you have an answer, <that> could be my prize.   [grin]
