Hehe.. reminds me of my sister.. she's a script supervisor in LA.. she told me
that on the set of one of the films (can't remember which one) the director
wanted fruit, nuts and seeds to accomodate one of the actresses.. (g).. So my
sister made some kind of joke at that.. the director didn't like it at all
(laugh).. she was severely reprimanded.. guess he was scared of that actress :)

oh, that's bad.. I must have some strange system.. my blood sugar is very low.

If I just have a small glass of red wine, I'm ok.. trouble is, one 'small
glass' doesn't relieve the spaticity in my legs like a couple of beers will ..
A bottle of chardonay is ok (vbg) but boy do I feel that in my legs the next
day.. much worse for me it seems. Bah, that's life - guess things could be
worse (g).

===Pumpkin Pie===

Pie Crust (enough for two single crust pies or one with extensive fluted edge)
2 cups flour
1/4 cup water
1 tsp. salt
3/4 cup shortening

Mix flour and salt, then remove 1/3 cup.  Add water to the 1/3 cup flour and
stir gently to form a paste.

Add shortening to the rest of the flour, and then mix in the paste with your
fingers.  When you can form a ball with the dough, roll it out with a rolling
pin. Place in pie plate and flute the edges.

Filling for One pie:

2 cups pumpkin
12 oz. evaporated milk
2 eggs beaten

1 tsp. cinnamon
1/4 tsp nutmeg
1/4 tsp cloves
1/4 tsp ginger

Mix the pumpkin with evaporated milk, and stir in beaten eggs.  Add spices,
mixing well.  Pour into prepared crust.  Bake at 400F for 10 minutes, then
reduce the heat to 350F and bake for 35-45 minutes more.  Cool and chill before
serving.
