It wasn't bad at all: both the Gounod and the Handel went fairly
well - not flawlessly, and there were spots where I thought all
the violins could have been shot equally, but on the whole, not
bad, and in spots, worth releasing as a CD, which they're talking
of doing, if they can fix up the bad parts.

Two or three rehearsals might be wonderful. Six would make
a pro bored and might be counterproductive.

Yep.

It's a concerto in all but name. Good piece.

Yep, pretty rank. But they did pull together pretty well
for the concert. There were some spots, as there always are.

Surprisingly, complacency has its drawbacks. No.

It's a fabled weird combo, but I have no idea why.

Chocolate Avocado Mousse
Categories: dessert, Australian, weird
Serves: 2

2 avocados
1 c maple syrup
2/3 c green & gold drinking chocolate powder
splash of vanilla
maple syrup, extra to taste

Spoon out flesh of avocados and place into a blender
with maple syrup, drinking chocolate and vanilla.
Blend well into a fine creamy swirl.

Add extra maple syrup to taste and chill in the fridge
for 2 hr.

Serve it for desert [sic] with berries and fresh cream
- and you don't have to tell anyone its [sic] avocados
until after the event!
