Yes, you can find some interesting goodies in places like that. The town
where I went to college had a sort of a general store. It didn't sell
groceries but had quite an assortment of other things, including penny
candy. (G)

Other names I've heard are "journey" cake or hoe cake.  The former one
derives from "a cake that can be eaten on a journey".

We've got a meat grinder attachment.  Don't know if it has a sausage
stuffer with it tho.  When we got the mixer, the deal was that we could
get any attachment at a certain % off.  Steve wanted the grinder so we
went with that.

By whatever name it's given, it's still good.

I know what you mean; I need to order something for my machine quilting
and have asked for a bathrobe.  Don't need anything other than that.

If we go for any of the gaming machines, it would be that.  I could get
some exercise in with less problem to my joints.  Did you know that Sony
is one of Michele Wie's sponsors? I wonder if that's why the console got
that name.

Nice to have that kind of connection, especially since you're staying in
the area.  When she goes back, you can always have a special order put
