I know 2 bridges here (ramps really) that are quite problematic.  The
engineering is wrong so the grade tends to swing you out as it is.  When they
ice, it can get very bad if you do not know.

Yes, but the locals tend to be safe but slow.  Ok, so it takes 1 hour to
drive what normally takes 20 mins.  So what?  It takes what it takes!  We
rarely slip and slide. Even black ice is fine at 20 mph!

Yes.  They are starting to run the radio shows to remind folks here again. 
They have special warnings for the non-locals to slow down to the pace of the
locals who understand the specifics of the roads *here*.  There's some really
funny ones telling the folks used to snow, to roll down their windows and ask
the locals where the ice is.  (See that thar car going sideways?  Thars the
ice.  See that thar car going slow-ways acrosst it?  That that be a local).

It's hilarious!  Wish I could describe it better.
