Since Ford closed yesterday at almost a buck more than I paid ... and I expect
it to keep going up - especially since I have seen their proposed line-up of
Eurocar models to be made/sold on the NA continent.

And, as they were already on the road to the change-over when the sub-prime
thing took the wind out of everyone's sails they should be first in the market
place with multiple offerings.

There will always be a market for pick-up trucks ... but, it will shrink back
to its intended target market - work trucks. One thing I noticed in Canadia
when G and I were on the way to the Canadian Caper Picnic at Flo's was the lack
of people using pick-ups like basic transport. Nearly all the pick-up trucks we
saw had tools in the back or signage on the doors. None had a mom and kiddies
or a teenage couple in them. I commented to Georgia at the time on this.

In America - especially in Spring-A-Leak I have seen Mr & Mrs von Richbitch
showing up in soup & fish attire for things like the overly pretentious Beaux
Arts Ball and tossng the keys to a really tricked out Ford F-150 or Chevy
Silverado to the valet parking attendant.    Bv)=

      Title: Arugula, Bacon, And Gruyère Bread Pudding
 Categories: Pork, Cheese, Greens, Breakfast, Puddings
      Yield: 4 servings
 
  1 1/2 c  Whole milk
    1/2 c  Heavy cream
      5 lg Eggs
      6 sl Bacon (thick)
      1 lg Shallot; fine chopped
      3 cl Garlic; chopped
      7 oz Baby arugula

      7 oz Baby spinach
      6 c  Cubed (1") country-style
           - bread
  5 1/2 oz Gruyère cheese; coarse
           - grated
 
  Here, we pepped up the fail-safe brunch combination of bacon,
  egg, and cheese by adding handfuls of flavorful sautéed
  arugula. They’ll be jumping out of bed for this one.
  
  Preheat oven to 375°F with rack in middle. Butter a 2-qt
  shallow baking dish.
  
  Whisk together milk, cream, eggs, and 1/4 tsp each of salt
  and pepper in a large bowl.
  
  Cook bacon in a 12-inch heavy skillet over medium heat, turn
  occasionally, until crisp. Transfer w/tongs to paper towels
  to drain, then coarsely crumble.
  
  Pour off all but 1 Tbsp fat from skillet. Increase heat to
  medium-high and cook shallot and garlic, stirring constantly,
  until golden, about 1 minute. Gradually add arugula and cook,
  stirring, until it wilts.
  
  Stir arugula mixture, bacon, bread, and cheese into custard.
  Transfer to baking dish and cover with foil. Bake 30 minutes,
  then remove foil and bake until golden in spots, about 10
  minutes more.
