I don't know if it made the national news
but it was big news here, our Governor
just flew to Iraq to visit with our Wash
Nat Guard troops, and Ft Lewis troops.

->  hn> and get out ( met a girl and is getting married) because
->  hn> he is a chopper pilot (chinook) and would be facing another
->  hn> immediate deployment.

-> There is talk of building it up again, tho not as large as it once was.

Evidently the fiancee said it was
ok if he stayed in and accepted
the promotion...but the wedding 
would not be until he returned. 
He decided marriage was the 
better offer! (grin) He's a real
good kid, (I've known him since
he was 14) and a very good
officer, who had planned to
make the army a career, but 
even he's getting tired of the
continued re-deployment cycle.
Evidently there's a lot of 
unhappiness in the army about
who gets sent again and again
and who's never been yet.
LOTS of officers are deciding 
to get out including West 
Pointers, which I found 
surprising!

-> -> So you have the fun of seeing how to best put them to use. Glazes for

-> Mix it with fruit for a fruit salsa.  Good with pork or chicken--use
-> pineapples, oranges, apple, kiwi............

I'm not the biggest fan of fruit 
salsa's, glazes I can deal with, but
I like my fruit in it's natural state
quite well!
