Ron paid off a bunch of cards in Nov. knowing we'd use them for Christmas..
worked well as we weren't sure we'd get paychecks in December (that worked out
finally, and the "scare" is over (g)).

That's good - that's about the same place we're at.. :)

Our fuel bills are pretty high for this house.. last oil fill was over $600..
that will last through the winter hopefully.. half of the house is heated with
that oil, and the other half is heated with propane (gets delivered every
month).. the propane bill is usually about $200 more. Sounds terrible, and it
is more this year than it's been in previous years :(

LOL :)  Wish we had a fireplace :) :)
