When we went to Kauai, the place we ate breakfast at (Both days, as it
was so good the first, we went back the 2nd morning.) had coconut syrup
for their pancakes. That's also where we discovered tropical fruit
salsa.  Got back to Oahu and looked in the Hawaiian foods section of the
Schofield commissary for coconut syrup.  They had it, but it had HFCS in
it so we left it on the shelf.

I usually try to get a meal that doesn't have pancakes included.  With
eggs and sides, it's way too much for me to eat.  At the IHOP on Maui,
they let me split an order with Steve.  He took the pancakes; I took the
eggs and sausage, with a side order of toast.  It worked out well; I've
found if I have pancakes in a place like that, it feels like a solid
weight in my stomach the rest of the day.  Usually we only go to places
like that if we're traveling.  I'm not able to do my usual "run around
the house" for exercise so I try to go for something lighter.

On one of our trips back to Sierra Vista, we tried going to an old
favorite place for breakfast. It, too, was gone and we had to settle for
Denny's.

We are; our "point man" (boss node) had a batch stick in his system
last week. We were without Fido for a few days, then started with the
packets from Dale.  Things are back to normal now but still getting the
packets for a it, just in case........
