I know but seeing the HFCS in that one made me think "YuK; who are they
trying to kid?" in the other ones.

Those were the ones I saw in LV wondering who they were trying to sucker
with the lines about it being so good.  All I had got out of it was the
mental picture of the other ad with the HFCS oozing out of the kid's
costume.

-> Yesterday Steve picked up a few things at the commissary for me,
-> including ginger snaps for the sauerbraten to be.  He came home & told
-> me he had his choice for those between partially hydrogenated shortening
-> and preservatives so picked the former. It's getting harder & harder to
-> find good food.

I know but there are some things we have to get that have the "evils" in
them.  Should have waited on the gingersnaps until we went to Brighter
Day today; had a couple of better choices there.  But, today's trip was
one of these "as long as we're out, is there anywhere else we need to go
to?" run. And we were about out of several things so.........

-> Low carb wouldn't go over very well here; we like pasta & pizza too
-> much. (G)  Steve is more of a pancake/waffle eater than I am; he was
-> we got married. They're more of a week end breakfast now; most of the
-> time I'll go for eggs (egg, actually).

 hn> I like carbs, but realize that it's better
 hn> for me to avoid them for the most part.
 hn> Those that I do take I try to take in the
 hn> form of fresh veggies and whole grains.

I'll go for those any day.

-> work crews.  You got a huge breakfast, even the egg dishes were mostly
-> stuffed omelette (and I mean, really stuffed) type.  There was home made
-> jam on the tables to go with the biscuits (not out of a can) too.
-> Denny's just isn't the same.

 hn> month...I sometimes order the #1 special.

 hn> hashbrowns and toast...the pancake is
 hn> the size of a plate! everything else comes
 hn> on side plates! One of my friends orders
 hn> the 1/2 order of sausage biscuits and gravy.
 hn> and he can barely finsih it!

I'd go for the #1, scramble the eggs, no pancake, half portion, hot tea
and orange juice on the side--and make it whole wheat toast please. (G)

And how!  Deborah is about Amanda's age (June 22, 1980).
