I've since found the books on ebay and have a bid on them.. should end in a few
days so hopefully I'll have them soon.  I don't need them both, so I'll
probably tell the seller to go ahead and sell the operations book to someone
else (grin). So far, I haven't really needed the recipe book either, as you
mentioned, but sometimes something like that is nice for ideas for the strength
of a product.. you know like making jam with a bread machine (lol).. seriously,
who would think to try that one without the recipe book mentioning it?? :)

hehehe.. I've made two chickens in it, and have been watching for a good pork
roast at the farm.. hopefully I'll get one of those soon!  I haven't tried at
my usual haunts (g).. just at the health-food store because that's closer..
McDonald's farm up in Ithaca will have just what I want I'm sure, and Lauren
and Dan are coming over next weekend (kids were really sick this weekend).

The chickens came out great!  The first one was coated with lemon/garlic pepper
spread, and the second one (my favorite) was covered with paprika, garlic and
stuffed with 10 cloves of garlic.. boy was that good :)

This one seems to be coated with something.. it's not "metal" if you know what
I mean. It seems to be coated with the same stuff that is on our newer cookie
sheets (more advanced teflon sort of). Isn't that tenically descriptive LOL
Anyway, it doesn't seem to be the type of thing that will rust, but I dry the
bottom pan and top veg. pan before I close it up, that's for sure. Perhaps with
later models they changed that much of it.
