Yes, it's not as easy care as you had thought.  OTOH, a stone walk way
with stepping stones is a lot easier to maintain. You can get stepping
stones with all kinds of designs on them to customise your walk.

Go for the 4; you won't regret it later.

Having a lot of storage is good. We are using the bottom part of our
buffet for kitchen stuff here as the storage space is so limited.  Same
with the microwave cart; both are in the dining room.

Go for new linoleum now (or whenever you do the other kitchen work) so
you won't have to tear up the room twice.

Put in a smaller table?  It's nice to sit to do some prep work.  I can't
be on my feet too long so I do sit down for jobs like rolling meat
balls.

Find a kitchen/restaurant supply place that sells to the public.  That's
where I got my plastic cutting boards--in Aiea.  Could have bought a
whole lot more there too (G) & prices were very reasonable.

Guess we'll have to plan some get togethers. Raleigh/Wake Forest is
closer than Savannah but still a few hours drive.
