Street talk calls those super-bass which-a-jigits "beats". Which is appropriate
as I'd like to beat most of the users about the head and shoulders with their
cheezy and distortion prone amplifiers.

Not to mention there has been some research (by the military) that being in a
high-noise low frequency sound environment can lower effective IQ up to 10
points ... and most of these idjits don't have tem points to give.

I can understand the attraction, though. When I was young and dumb and hadn't a
clue I used to clamp the Sennheiser headphones on me ears and crank Steppenwolf
(and others) up to the threshold of pain. Made cogent though impossible and let
the world slip away without resorting to either alcohol or less legal
substances.   Bv)=

But, I did this at home - not driving down the street in a two ton weapon. And
with headphones not LOUD speakers.

MMMMM----- Recipe via Meal-Master (tm) v8.06
 
      Title: Santiago Mussels
 Categories: Seafood, Latino, Shellfish
      Yield: 1 servings
 
     20    Very fresh mussels in their
           - shells, well cleaned
        pn Bittersweet paprika
      2 tb Sherry vinegar
           Salt & pepper
      3 tb Chopped garlic
    1/4 c  Chopped union
      2 tb Chopped parsley
      3 tb Extra virgin olive oil
 
  n a bowl, mix the finely chopped union, parsley, and garlic.
  
  Add the olive oil, vinegar, salt, paprika and pepper. Place the bowl
  in the refrigerator.
  
  In a large pot, steam mussels until they open, around 4-5 minutes.
  Remove immediately.
  
  Remove the meat from the mussels, being careful not to break into
  pieces. Add to the bowl with the other ingredients, gently covering
  the meat.
  
  Thoroughly clean the interior of 1/2 of the shells.
  
  When mussels are chilled, about 10 minutes, scoop up each one with a
  little of the other ingredients and place them in the half shells.
  Serve on a platter sprinkled with parsley and a touch of paprika.
