It does and is pretty much the whole back wall that isnt used up by a sliver
of counter and the stove. Of course, you cant have both doors open at once
with a sliding glass door so it wouldnt 'really' change access as it would be
the other wall side, but it *might* be a code issue here. A movable island
would not be. They sell them with locking feet so you can scoot them about
and then park them and lock the wheels.

True. If I have a cabinet installed that blocks and the code guys get antsy,
I'd eithr have to take it out, or take out the door and put in a regular
exterior small door, neither of which appeal to me.
Taking my time as you see.

It's all really based on what we each use most. I envision the island taking
my appliances (my most used, crockpots, breadmaker, ricemaker) and then the
big part over the dishwasher becomes purely prep space. Big enough for our
needs.

Really, we do not miss the outlets the bathroom except once in a blue moon.
I think the last (and first) time I really noticed it was when I washed my
hair just before work then went looking for a hair dryer and couldnt find
one, them remembered there wasnt an out let there so I'd have to plug it in
elsehere. I havent used a hair dryer since getting back and this was over a
year after getting back before I noticed we dumped it to lighten weight
limits ;-)
Adding them to both bathrooms is a 'when we get to it' improvement that we
may never bother with. Real low on the priority list ;-)

True, so we still have favorite pieces. China cabinet and the flip down oak
dining table are my favorites ;-)

He I have a spare tank that will work. JUst a baby at 40gallons but it will
hold them well enough.

Daisy isnt allowed up on the tank top. The only spot she can leap to, has a
1.5ft godzillla telling her 'come play with me, heheehe' blocking her. But,
we have one of those kitty perches of just one level that's purrfect on the
floor to stand on and watch'kitty TV' from right at the front of the tank.
All furniture is carefully placed so she cant get at the tank except that
way. See, had a cat once crash through a hood and dang near start an
electrical fire many moons ago. Hence, I am real careful of that scenario
unless the hood is deigned to hand it and this one is not.

At a kitchen table at a picnic? LOL!

Yes, That would be just the ticket!
I'm pricing decent tables with attached seating. I think it's safer with our
crowd if you dont have to worry if someone rocks a bit if the 'bench' cant be
flipped over because it's attached. I'm looking at ones with a back to them
as well but also at just a secondary table with some comfy plastic seats of a
sturdy type with arms that can be stacked and a large long almost card table
thing would work in addition to the picnic table.

I think we all do at certain levels. We just may not be aware of it all the
time?

Well some chinese is very spicy! It's more a different treatment. Think,
octopus gumbo for starts? Old Bay Tempura fried asian eggplant.
What can I say, I like to play with my food and Mom tried to teach me not to
but wasnt too successful obviously (grin).
